Wales
and Pembrokeshire
in particular offers so much to choose from. Whether you are seeking a leisurely holiday
on the beach, walking in the beautiful country side and hills, or
wandering around the historic remains of the long-lasting wars between the
Normans and the Welsh. For the more active there is the excitement of
water skiing, hang-gliding and sailing, or the thrills of one of the many
theme parks.
Pembrokeshire
is made for activity holidays. Sailing and fishing,
horse riding, walking
and cycling. The wildlife sanctuaries around our coast are home to many
species of birds as well as seals. Your children will love the broad sandy
beaches nearby and spend many happy hours in entertainment parks such as Oakwood, Heatherton, Folly Farm, Dinosaur Park, or the
indoor children's Adventure Play
pockets as
you enjoy a well earned meal at the end of each day.
Amroth
is the nearest beach, approx five minutes by car. Or you can take a pleasant
approx 2 kilometer (approx 30-40 minutes) walk by either footpath or country lane with
views of sea and countryside. The town offers over 3 kilometers of wide
sandy beach and clean waters for bathing, while the
local shops, cafes and inns will keep you refreshed and well fed. Other
restaurants, supermarkets, and entertainment centres are only a short
drive away.
